Google and the breach of privacy laws.

PARIS – According to the French authority responsible for the issues concerning information technology and liberty (CNIL), «Google breaks the French privacy laws and», in consequence, it «has 3 months time to get its business in order», based on need of «local legislation» (ANSA). Otherwise, the multinational company would incur «pecuniary sanctions» (ibidem).

Pursuant to what we can read on CNIL’s website, «data protection authorities of Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands and United Kingdom […] have begun repressive procedures against Google».
