Liberals announce their abstention from Libyan parliamentary activity.

TRIPOLI – The «liberals of the National Forces Alliance (NFA), leaded by the former premier Mahmoud Jibril», announce they will stop to participate in the work of the «Parliament (General National Congress)» (AGI). This decision is aimed at «denouncing» the lack of advance «in the draft of the new Libyan constitution» (ibidem).

The NFA represents the «most important» political organisation, with «36 members of parliament out of 80 attributed to the parties. Constitution must be defined by a commission of 60 members elected by» the Libyan people, «but the vote has not yet been set» (idem).
