Coup d’état in Thailand enters into mass media.

Thailand. According to the news agency ANSA, the «armed forces» gave the word to the radio and TV broadcasting stations of the Country «to interrupt their programs and to broadcast the bulletins of the new military regime» (ANSA).

The order came after the «coup d’état» having been «formalized two hours» before and «followed by the announcement of the curfew».

According to the mentioned source, radio and TV channels are repeatedly broadcasting the speech by which General Prayuth Chan-ocha proclaimed the «seizure 0f power» (ibidem).
