Germany. On the occasion of the “municipal elections in Dresden”, on Sunday, the “far-right movement Patriotic Europeans against the Islamisation of the West” obtained “almost 10%” of the votes (ANSA).
In effect, in the framework of the running to the office of mayor, Pegida’s candidate Tatjana Festerling had a set of scores of “9,6%”.
Eva-Maria Stange – the candidate supported by the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), the German and Die Linke – prevailed in the first round of voting, obtaining 36% of the vote (ibidem).
