According to EFE, “today”, the Parliament of Hungary gave its “green light to a referendum on the […] plan to distribute […] the refugees among” the member states of the European Union by a quota system.
During “an Internet broadcast session” – reported the Spanish news agency – “the Chamber voted with 136 votes in favour (out of a total of 199 members of the Parliament) the proposal to organise a popular referendum which had been announced in February by the Hungarian Prime Minister, the conservative Viktor Orbán” (EFE).
