Glasgow (Scotland). In the last day of the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, a group of persons “dressed up as firefighters wearing bogus heads representing the global leaders to denounce” the inability of the latter “to extinguish the planetary blaze of the climate crisis”.

A rally organised by Oxfam activists in order to ask the “negotiators” who were discussing “global warming” and possible solutions to “fully take advantage of the last useful hours of the summit to make effective decisions” (Rai News).

New rally in Yerevan asking the Prime Minister to resign. Some protesters enter a governmental building.

Source: RSI (01/03/2021).Tension raises in Armenia, where “this morning” opponents of the government bursted in a building housing “some ministries”, while “a new protest” was taking place in the Capital against the cabinet of Nikol Pashinyan and asking for the resignation of the latter. The organisers would claim to “be able to enter any edifice” of the State (Radiotelevisione svizzera di lingua italiana, RSI)

The Prime Minister “had denounced a coup d’état attempt by the army” last week, after having decided to dismiss a staff officer. An act which found the opposition of the President Armen Sarkissian. Motorway between Belgium and France. A yellow vests rally obstructs the traffic for a while in the night.

Rekkem, part of the Belgian city of Menen. A group of “yellow vests” (gilets jaunes) have managed to stop “the traffic” for a while in the night between Thursday and Friday, “on the E17 motorway”, on the “border” between Belgium and France.

The “demonstrators” – allegedly “about sixty persons” – have started their “action” on “Thursday […] around 20:30” and would have “set a few wood palettes ablaze”, also preventing some “heavy vehicles” to go through the “border” (Le Soir.be).

G20 starting on Friday in Hamburg and tension is in the air of the city.

Yemen: atmosphere ruling the country remains tense.

Tension doesn’t seem to decrease in Yemen. According to the Spanish news agency EFE, in Sanaa, “militiamen of the Houthis shia movement attacked today tens of opposing demonstrators” trying to enter “the emblematic Al-Tahrir Square”, which had been put under control “by the first ones in order to avoid protests” (EFE).
